In 2014, Mary Chapa joined Turnaround Arts: California as one of only 27 schools in the State whose mission includes Arts Integration. ​

Arts Integration has led to growth in our students, and a better climate for the entire Mary Chapa family. Student behavior has improved, and we are only getting better! Through our well-attended Family Art Nights and other Arts events, Mary Chapa is setting itself apart as a model for Turnaround Arts.
